We are looking for a new colleague to join our talented Technology team based at our Vejle office.
At AutoProff, we believe great technology drives great experiences—and we’re just getting started. We’re on a mission to transform the way vehicles are traded across Europe, and we need curious and driven new colleagues to help us do it.
As our new Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team responsible for building a unified seller solution that powers how vehicles enter and move through the AutoProff platform. We focus on enabling dealers to efficiently manage, price, and sell their inventory by combining streamlined vehicle intake, data-driven pricing, and intuitive seller tools. Our work simplifies trade-ins, improves sourcing decisions, and helps dealers act faster and more confidently, ultimately unlocking value earlier in the vehicle lifecycle.
We foster a developer-friendly culture where innovation isn’t just encouraged; it’s expected. You’ll have access to modern, AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and streamline your daily work. We host hackathons to explore new tech, ideas and tools, and our internal developer forums are open spaces for discussing architecture, new technologies, and tough engineering challenges. Whether building or learning, there's always room to experiment and grow.
Let's dive into your key responsibilities. You will:
- Work in a dynamic and international environment with experienced and skilled colleagues
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable solutions across backend, web frontend, and mobile, using engineering best practices and design patterns.

- Identify and act on areas for your own personal development
- Mentor and coach co-workers on topics that you master.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for a pragmatic generalist with a strong backend foundation. You should be confident working with .NET and C#.
- Strong hands-on experience building backend services with .NET and C#
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience working with databases
- The ability to troubleshoot problems and take ownership of software in production
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with a focus on shared ownership and continuous improvement
- Good communication skills and fluency in business English
You do not need to be an expert in every part of our stack. We use agentic development to help engineers work effectively across technical boundaries. Sound engineering judgement, code reviews, and testing remain essential.
Nice to have
We’d also value experience in some of the following areas, but we do not expect you to bring all of them:
- Feeling comfortable contributing to web frontend and, when needed, React Native development
- Distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Vue 3 and TypeScript; we are currently transitioning from Webpack to Vite
- React Native and TypeScript
- AWS or another cloud provider, particularly containerization or serverless computing
- Designing and working with RESTful APIs

About AutoProff
AutoProff was founded in 2013 by the experienced car dealer Jesper Ratza in Denmark. The aim was to digitalize B2B used car trading, helping car dealers increase sales and improve profits.
In August 2022, AutoScout24, the leading specialized pan-European online car marketplace, acquired a majority stake in AutoProff. The partnership has supported the rapid expansion of AutoProff's solutions across Europe and enables the creation of Europe's first fully integrated C2B-B2B-B2C dealing solution for used cars.
At AutoProff, we specialize in providing online B2B used-car dealing solutions designed to improve the buying and selling experience for professional car dealers and their customers.
We are the emerging European leader with more than 150,000 B2B used cars on our online trading platforms annually.
With a focus on effective solutions, digitization and customer service, we are committed to being the home of B2B car dealing for European car dealers.
