Role Overview
- Lead architecture design for scalable, extensible, and reliable systems
- Align technology roadmaps with leadership and stakeholders
- Build productivity tools using Claude and Windsurf
- Remove technical blockers and simplify complex problems into actionable solutions
- Write code when needed to guide teams and support high-priority initiatives
- Identify business and tech opportunities; evaluate and adopt new technologies
- Recruit, mentor, and grow top-tier engineering talent
- Bachelor's degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 10+ years building and operating backend services and web applications
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, storage, data processing, and server technologies
- Strong coding skills in Java and Spring Framework; object-oriented design
- Experience with AWS-based service development and operations
- Experience with NoSQL and relational/columnar databases
- Git, CI/CD automation, and Agile methodologies
- Experience driving improvements in code quality
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
- Passion and inclination towards Reliability and observability
