The Company is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking and security products. American Overhead Door, a DH Pace Company aspires to hire an experienced Outside Residential Sales Representative who will specialize in building relationships and selling door and door products to homeowners and builders in the Madison/Huntsville area.
Responsibilities:
- Design customized door solutions
- Promote line of products and services to potential customers daily.
- Make sales presentations that include product samples and design software
- Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customer’s needs, and sell technical and mechanical good and services.
- Build solid, long-lasting relationships with general contractors and builders in an assigned territory
- Provides timely and accurate estimates and proposals.
- Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Two (2) years outside selling experience to homeowners and general contractors
- Mechanical aptitude (Experience with blueprints/plans and specs highly desirable)
- Strong interpersonal skills to easily establish rapport with new customers
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Must have excellent organizational, communication and relationship building skills
- Other duties as assigned
