Estamos buscando activamente un Asistente Dental para unirse a nuestro equipo en crecimiento. Como Asistente Dental (DA), eres una parte integral del equipo de atención, brindando apoyo en la oficina y asistiendo al personal dental profesional durante los tratamientos. Apoya nuestra misión de proporcionar excelente atención dental en la comunidad y ayúdanos a crear más sonrisas y experiencias memorables. - Sal a tu comunidad: participa en eventos locales, incluyendo revisiones escolares, presentaciones y cualquier oportunidad de promover una imagen positiva de nosotros
- Participa en reuniones matutinas (¡podrías hasta ofrecerte a dirigir una!), hazle saber a tus compañeros cuánto los aprecias, resalta grandes ejemplos de enfoque al cliente, colaboración, etc.
- Disfruta trabajar con niños (representan el 70% o más de nuestra base de pacientes)
Responsabilidades
- Brindar atención de calidad y compasión a cada paciente
- Guiar a los padres de menores y a los pacientes por nuestros procesos antes del tratamiento
- Educar a los pacientes sobre la higiene oral y proporcionar instrucciones postoperatorias
- Preparar al paciente para el examen y el tratamiento
- Tomar radiografías y guardarlas en el historial del paciente (según la ubicación)
- Ser responsable de la preparación operacional del área de higiene dental y los consultorios
- Preparar bandejas para procedimientos dentales
- Mezclar amalgama, cemento, pasta de pulpa y preparar materiales para impresiones
- Esterilizar y desinfectar instrumentos, equipos, sillas y salas
- Asistir al personal dental profesional durante el tratamiento:
- Documentar información del paciente, planes de tratamiento y procedimientos en el historial
- Asistir en succión, sostener retractores y cortar suturas durante procedimientos quirúrgicos
- Verter, recortar y pulir modelos de impresión
- Fabricar bandejas personalizadas para impresiones
- Actuar con la máxima integridad cumpliendo todas las regulaciones gubernamentales, estándares de la empresa y programas de cumplimiento
- Otras tareas asignadas
Calificaciones
Requisitos:
- Graduación de la escuela secundaria o equivalente GED requerida
- Certificación de rayos X preferida según el estado y la práctica individual
- Credenciales de asistente dental certificado preferidas según el estado y la práctica individual
- Bilingüe en español es una ventaja (dependiendo de la ubicación)
- Actuar con la máxima integridad cumpliendo todas las regulaciones gubernamentales, estándares de la empresa y programas de cumplimiento
