Melbourne City, South West, Geelong (Field-based) Full Time
Full Time + Commission + Car Allowance

At Kao Professional Hair Brands, we believe great colour work starts with great education. Our Educators play a key role in developing salon capability across our brands, supporting stylists to build confidence, creativity, and technical mastery.
This role is hands-on and highly collaborative. You’ll deliver in-salon education, support our Academy programs, and work closely with the sales team to ensure salons are not only supported—but continually growing.
With a strong focus on colour education and technical development, you’ll help shape the next generation of salon talent while strengthening relationships across our salon network.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Delivering in-salon education and technical training sessions
- Supporting Academy programs and structured learning pathways
- Leading colour education across core brand techniques and systems
- Partnering with the sales team to support salon growth and engagement
- Developing emerging talent within salons and building long-term capability
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality education aligned to brand standards
What we’re looking for
- Strong technical colour knowledge and hands-on salon experience
- Previous experience in education, training, or mentoring stylists
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage and inspire
- Strong understanding of salon business and professional haircare
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with sales teams
- Passion for developing others and lifting industry standards
Territory
- Mebourne-based role with regular in-salon and regional travel to Geelong.
