Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Equipment & Adaptations
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £35 per hour
Contract Type: Locum
Job Description:
Join our client's collaborative and responsive team based in Manchester supporting adults through strength-based assessments and tailored interventions. These roles focus on promoting independence and safety through equipment provision, adaptations and care package reviews.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Conduct functional assessments in the community
- Provide moving & handling solutions and equipment recommendations
- Review care packages and support independence
- Work flexibly with hybrid arrangements for visits
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet varied needs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or master’s in occupational therapy (evidence required)
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with adults in a community setting
- Strong understanding of moving & handling and equipment provision
- Access to a car for community visits
- Flexible and organised approach to caseload management
