Registered Manager – Children's Residential Services

Are you an experienced and qualified Registered Manager with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and a passion for leading high-quality care for children and young people? If so, our client - a respected organisation in children’s residential care - is seeking a confident and capable leader to manage one of their homes in Coalville.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
- Register as the Manager with Ofsted and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Provide strong, effective leadership to the care team
- Ensure that children receive the highest standard of care and support tailored to their individual needs
- Develop and oversee care plans, risk assessments and behaviour management strategies
- Manage staff recruitment, development, training, and performance
- Monitor and improve the quality of care through audits, reviews and feedback
- Liaise effectively with external agencies, including social workers, schools and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with safeguarding and data protection standards
- Promote a positive and nurturing environment that helps children feel safe, valued and empowered

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Full UK Driving Licence: Candidates must be confident driving in various conditions, including motorways and nighttime.
- Qualified Staff Only: Proof of qualification is required before interview.
- Clean Enhanced DBS: Mandatory for all applicants.
- Experience & Knowledge: Candidates should demonstrate strong understanding of Ofsted regulations & inspections, supervisions & whistleblowing, safeguarding practices, and leadership in residential care for children & young people.
