Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Care Team Lead for its client at Galway City, Ireland to join a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of people, helping them live their best life.

What will your responsibilities be?
The Team Leader will provide residential and respite care within a staff team for children and adults with an intellectual disability according to policies, procedures and guidelines.
- To work closely with both the Person in Charge and/or Assistant Director of Client Services with regard to both planning and implementing the effective delivery of services
- Support Person in Charge with the management of the annual budget, including staffing and all aspects of expenditure within the centre and be responsible for operating within approved budgets
- Act as Person in Charge in the absence of Cluster Person in Charge as required
- Support Person in Charge in Performance Management issues as they may arise
- Support Person in Charge in ensuring all staff training records are up to date

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification.
- CORU Registration or in process of registration
- Previous experience working with people with an intellectual disability or a similar field.
- Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
- An ability to advocate on behalf of people we support
