Description

The Opportunity

The Business Transformation Project Manager will play a central role in driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance the scalability, efficiency, and control environment of the firm.

You will partner cross functionally to design and implement process improvements and transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into executable plans, ensuring that projects are delivered effectively and aligned with the firm’s broader objectives.

The role carries end-to-end responsibility for driving complex initiatives—from initial problem definition through execution—while building scalable processes and frameworks that support the firm’s continued growth.

What You'll Do

Project Management & Execution

  • Identify, mobilize and drive cross-functional projects from conception through completion
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinate with various departments including Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Legal
  • Track project metrics and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
  • Ensure projects align with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements

Process Optimization & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive process mapping and workflow analysis across departments
  • Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and optimization opportunities using data-driven approaches
  • Develop visual process maps and workflows to drive decision-making
  • Break down complex operational challenges into manageable, actionable components
  • Design and implement streamlined processes that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk

Technology & Systems Integration

  • Support with technology-driven transformation initiatives
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials

Strategic Support

  • Support OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework implementation and tracking
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives across all business pillars and functions

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

  • 3+ years of project management and/or business transformation experience
  • Financial Services industry experience required
  • Proven track record in structured finance, capital markets, or fintech environments preferred
  • Process Mapping Expertise: Proficient in creating visual workflows using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms
  • Project Management: Experience with managing and executing multiple projects at once
  • Problem Decomposition: Ability to break complex problems into smaller, manageable work streams
  • Data Analysis: Comfortable with Excel, process analytics tools, and basic SQL knowledge preferred
  • Documentation: Strong technical writing and process documentation skills for creating documentation, process guides, and training materials
  • Preferred
  • PMP or Prince2 Qualifications
  • Knowledge of structured finance products (commercial paper, swaps, derivatives)
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks (SEC, MiFID 2, SBSD, CFTC) a plus

How You Work

  • You operate as a self-starter, taking initiative and driving work forward independently while maintaining strong alignment with stakeholders.
  • You approach problems with a structured, solutions-oriented mindset, proactively identifying inefficiencies and driving practical, effective resolutions.
  • You are highly execution-focused, with a hands-on approach and a bias toward delivering outcomes rather than just coordinating activity.
  • You maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency even in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization, translating complexity into actionable insights and maintaining transparency on progress and risks.
  • You are adaptable and responsive, able to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and competing demands.
