Role Overview:
Executive and Administrative Assistants at NYCEDC play a crucial role in supporting our executive team and/or division leadership by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and facilitating smooth day-to-day operations. These roles require excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will handle confidential information with discretion, assist in project management, and may also be responsible for preparing reports or presentations. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
These roles require excellent organizational skills, so candidates should be able to manage calendars, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key for interacting with executives, employees, and clients. Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants need to anticipate needs, handle sensitive information with care, and take a proactive approach to problem solving.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment – being tech savvy is a plus! -- and who is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
