Authorizations Specialist
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION
We here at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC are on the hunt for a meticulous and proactive Authorizations Specialist to keep our clinical services moving without interruption. Your work directly enables our therapists and BCBAs to serve children and families — every authorization you secure matters
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Submit and track prior authorization requests to insurance companies daily
- Communicate with insurance providers to resolve authorization denials and delays
- Maintain accurate authorization records in the Bolt platform
- Alert clinical teams proactively of approvals, expirations, and renewals
- Meet daily submission targets and document all follow-up activity
SKILLS
- Direct experience submitting prior authorizations to insurance payers
- Knowledge of ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy authorization processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume queues
- Excellent written and verbal communication with insurance payers
- Proficiency in EHR or practice management software
