Working Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Yeovil, Somerset. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be?
This role involves working within general adult mental health services, specifically within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing and overseeing treatment plans, and providing clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team. The postholder will also participate in clinical reviews, case discussions, and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
• Experience in general adult psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
• A commitment to delivering patient-centred care
