Tekna's project portfolio is incredibly diverse covering medical, life science, consumer and industrial product categories. Tekna is largely client focused offering design consulting, contract manufacturing and original equipment manufacturing services. Tekna's cross functional teams include Design Engineering, Industrial Design, CAD, Procurement, Production and Quality which offers a friendly and supportive team atmosphere.

Who we are looking for
- Are you skilled in various engineering disciplines including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and software engineering?
- Have you designed and developed products using sophisticated scientific and mathematical techniques?
- Are you the creator of engineering concepts that lead to detailed designs ensuring a product is safe, effective, efficient, reliable, and profitable through its intended life when used for its intended purpose?
- Have you supported Consulting, New Product Development, and Production projects?

What you'll get to do
- Work in a group environment with creative, open minded, out of the box thinking
- Ensure products are safe and effective for their intended use prior to release
- Collaborate with new product development teams consisting of other design engineers, industrial designers, CAD specialists, quality engineers, production engineers, project managers, and more
- Provide engineering support to Consulting, New Product Development, and Production projects
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering to include but not limited to mechanical, electrical and software engineering
- 3-5 years successful experience as a Design Engineer
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or Creo
