The role…
The Junior Buyer is a procurement professional responsible for supporting the sourcing of indirect goods and services and supplier management across the Soho House locations in North America. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement – North America, this role will help manage sourcing requests, supplier relationships, contract administration, spend analysis, and procurement projects that drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the procurement of indirect goods and services including collateral supplies, hotel amenities, kitchen equipment, and other operational categories.
- Assist with competitive sourcing events, including gathering supplier quotations, evaluating proposals, and preparing recommendation summaries.
- Support sourcing, onboarding & management of suppliers for new business initiatives.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and spend trends.
- Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, pricing files, and sourcing records.
- Assist with implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for operational teams by responding to product, supplier, and procurement-related inquiries.
- Partner with on-site purchasing teams to support new initiatives, product rollouts, and operational requirements across North America.
- Participate in cross-functional procurement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, hospitality, or administrative support
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to build relationships across departments.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with procurement or ERP systems is a plus (Adaco, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).
- Experience working in hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or multi-site operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with procurement best practices and supplier management.
- Interest in pursuing a career in strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
