The role will collaborate across Teach For All’s global programmatic and development teams and report directly to the CEO.

About the Team

The Global Development team is responsible for inspiring a global community of supporters and ensuring Teach For All has the financial resources necessary to accomplish our mission and vision. We work to catalyze a global constituency of champions who fuel our work all over the world.

2. Strategic Positioning (40%)

  • Conceptualize and execute creative strategies to elevate Teach For All’s profile as a high-impact philanthropic priority for Bay Area tech leaders, founders and HNWIs
  • Design and curate experiences (e.g. dinners, fireside chats, school visits) that help people understand our mission and work
  • Identify and partner with key Bay Area champions to host events to grow awareness and support for our work
  • Build understanding of Teach For All’s approach, theory of change and impact for Bay Area audiences, articulating it effortlessly in both formal writing and casual conversation
  • Represent Teach For All at events across the Bay Area, sometimes acting as a proxy for our CEO, to grow our organization and network’s visibility

About Teach For All

Teach For All is a global network of over 60 independent, locally led organizations and a global organization united by a commitment to developing collective leadership to ensure all children can fulfill their potential. Each network partner recruits and develops promising leaders to teach in their nations’ under-resourced schools and communities and, with this foundation, to work with others, inside and outside of education, towards a world where all children have the education, support, and opportunity to shape a better future. Teach For All’s global organization works to increase the network’s impact by supporting the development of new organizations; fostering network connectivity and learning; providing coaching and consulting; and enabling access to global resources for the benefit of the network.
