Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for talented Java Developer for the UniFi Team.

You’ll be working on the UniFi application back-end to develop efficient, scalable and maintainable features.

Candidates should be prepared to work from our Prague office at least two times per week.

The project stack: Java 25; Spring Boot 4.0; PostgreSQL; Github Actions; Go.

Responsibilities:

REST API development
Develop integrations with network device firmware and other UniFi OS applications
Participate in all phases of development, including feature design and testing
Code reviews for other team members

Requirements:

Senior-level engineering experience, typically 5+ years shipping production systems
Strong problem-solving and systems thinking - you can break down ambiguous problems and design good solutions
Good understanding of SOLID principles
Experience in web application development
Daily, fluent use of AI coding assistants as a core part of your workflow
Fluent in English

Nice to have:

Fluent in Czech
Java and Spring framework knowledge
Advanced knowledge of networking
Familiarity with storage systems, including block or object storage
Experience with Bash and Unix
