Position Objective
Overall responsibility for scheduling surgical/procedural patients' surgical/procedural procedures achieving 98% accuracy rate.

- Communicates professionally with physicians, physicians' office staff and co-workers providing excellent customer service skills and works collaboratively with a variety of individuals.
- Create and schedule patients for surgical/procedural procedures in the appropriate Scheduling module. As needed prints daily OR schedule for the following day as well as weekend schedule.
- Answers all incoming phone calls with proper greeting 100% of the time. Continuously checks department and individual voicemail throughout the day returning phone messages promptly.
- Responds to department emails as assigned in department rotation.
- Rearranges cases upon request of physicians or physicians' staff and/or charge nurse of HP OR, ESP OR, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath lab.
Educational/Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of related work experience with knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required

Pay Range
$19 — $24.93 USD per hour
