Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Doctor's Office for Pets is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a part-time position with shifts scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am-5pm.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related experience preferred
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

Doctor's Office for Pets was established in 2006 and provides a comfortable atmosphere for beloved pets. We are a 2-doctor, full-service clinic and primarily see dogs and cats, however, we will treat reptiles, birds, and exotics on occasion. At Doctors Office for Pets, our steady workflow, yet easy-going environment encourages team collaboration and continued development. Our talented staff embraces a positive hospital culture where each member of the team feels valued, and everyone understands the importance each role plays in the success of our practice. We are well-equipped and provide a full range of services, from routine medical care to surgery, laser therapy, behavioral consultations, and more.

This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
